125,000 WORKERS IDLE
(10 a.m.) CALCUTTA, March 22. A strike by Calcutta’s workers against the India-wide ration cut has extended. About 125,000 workers from the industrial suburbs of Barrackpore and Bnrangagore are now involved. The cut amounts to 25 per cent, but manual workers get a supplementary ration.
