CAMP HORRORS
OPERATIONS UNFINISHED
TAXI-DRIVER SURGEONS (9 a.m.) ' HAMBURG. March 22. S.S. doctors in the Neuenganune concentration camp would sometimes tire of an unfinished operation and walk off, leaving unqualified taxi-drivers to finish ‘the job, said a Belgian medical student before the war crimes court to-day. “By force of habit taxi-drivers gained some aptitude for amputations and similar surgical tasks,’’ he said. The commandant and his staff also allegedly permitted tuberculosis bacteria to be injected into the arms and breasts of French boys and girls.
