MIGRATION SPEED-UP
BRITISH WORKER’S PLAN
NEW ZEALAND JOURNEY LONDON. March 3. A tool-maker intends to speed up his emigration to New Zealand by using a push-bike for most of the journey, says the Press Association. Advised that he would have to wait at least a year for a ship. 36-year-old Mr. E. J. Cooke decided to cycle across England to Scotland, travel to Ireland by sea, cross the Atlantic either by sea or air. cycle across Canada, thence to Los Angeles, where he anticipates he will have less trouble in getting a ship to New Zealand.
Mr. Cooke will leave London on March 4.
