CRASH INTO MOUNTAIN
AMERICAN AIRLINER 21 BODIES RECOVERED 1 10 30 a.in.) NEW YORK. March 4. Twenty-one bodies have so far been recovered from the American Air Line's plane which crashed in the Laguna mountains, 45 miles east of Los Angeles. All but six were severely burned. , The plane carried 21 passengers and a crew of four. Eight Navy planes tried to fly over the area but were turned back by fog and wind. A Coast Guard plane later reported that the air liner hit a 0000 ft. high peak.
