AGED COLLABORATOR
FRENCH WRITER GUILTY
PARIS, Dec. 16. The Purge Court sentenced to a term of life imprisonment the well-known writer Abel Hcrmant, aged 83 years, on charges of collaboration. Hermant during the occupation contributed articles to collaborationist newspapers. He was not sentenced to hard labour because of his age.
