FRENCH CHILDREN
TO WINTER IN SPAIN
(9 a.m.) MADRID, Dec. 17
“French children from the devastated areas will spend the winter in Spain in response to the Spanish offer to shelter 50,000 Allied children,” said M. Paul Hardion, chief of the French mission to Madrid.
This is the first Allied acceptance of the Spanish invitation.
