DUMPING FEARED
BRITISH GOODS IN INDIA (9 a.m.) CALCUTTA, Dec. 17
There is evidence of British plans to carry out large-scale dumping of consumer goods in Indian markets, said Mr. I. N. Birla, the Indian employers’ representative at the recent 1.L.0. conference in Paris. He said he feared that India was not receiving the priority she deserved for the development of her own industries. Mr. Birla urged the Indian Government to come to the rescue.
