DOOLITTLE’S REUNION
FIRST TOKIO RAIDERS
NEW YORK, Dec. 16.
Lieutenant-General James Doolittle, leader of the American carrier plane raid on Tokio in 1942, is visiting Miami beach for a reunion with the fliers whose fast rendezvous was over Tokio to drop the first bombs on Japan’s capital. Fifty-four of the 61 members of the original mission are expected to attend the ceremonies, including a banquet, deep-sea fishing, an aquatic show and farewell supper party.
