RELIEF FOOD SOUGHT
JAPAN WANTS UNRRA AID CRITICAL TWO MONTHS (10 a.m.) TOKIO, Oct. 24. The Japanese Minister of Welfare, \shida, declared'that the Government plans to negotiate with UNRRA in an Ittempt to obtain food to carry Japan through the crucial months of November and December. He added that Fapan fully recognised her own responlibility for feeding her people, but she needed help since transportation and jther difficulties would prevent the iistribution of the rice crop just harvested until the end of the year, when the situation was expected to ease.
