MITSUI FAMILY CONCERNS DIRECTIVES FROM U.S. 110 a.m.) TOKIO, Oct. 24. It is authoritatively reported that the Mitsui company’s directors are now iiscussing their reorganisation, including the retirement of 10 Mitsui families jnd the liquidation of their huge stock iioldings. The discussions touch on the liquidation of the Mitsui holding companies which are capitalised at 500,DOO.OOO yen, of which the Mitsui families hold 63 per cent, and also the retirement of Baron Takakimi Mitsui as president. The American authorities both in fokio and Washington are being kept fully advised of the discussions. The snal decision is expected soon on the basis of policies to be determined in Washington.
