WARTIME WRECKS
TREASURE FROM SEA SIX SALVAGE COMPANIES LONDON,. Sept. 2. At least six salv. ge expeditions being organised to recover bullion and valuables from wartime wrecks throughout the world will seek treasure from the sea valued at millions of pounds sterling, says the Daily Express. London underwriters, with the end of the war, are able to make tree contracts between the vessels’ owners, insurance companies and the- salvage concerns. The first surveys of some of the wrecks have already been carried out.
