ADVANCE ON RAMREE
ALLIED PUSH IN BURMA (10 a.m.) COLOMBO. Feb. 8
The 15th Indian Corps, against stiff opposition, made a further advance towards the town of Ramree, says a comhutnique issued by Allied Southeast Asia Command Headquarters. On the right flank in Ramree Island, our Iroops are advancing south of Yanbaiik Ciiaung. South-east of Minbya, West African troops are encountering opposition.
