r.a.f. in residence HISTORIC DOCUMENTS LONDON, .Tan. 2. A former residence of tho Mussolinis in northern Italy is now occupied by a Royal Air Force unit, reports the Air Ministry News Service. Although apparently not used by Mussolini or his family after 1930. it still contains many interesting. books and documents associated with Ins early days of power. Pilot Officer Kenneth Salt, Opotiki. who is one of the officers "in residence,” has spent a good deal of his leisure time in browsing in its rooms and looking at oil paintings of II Ducc in dramatic poses. Pilot Officer Salt said: “We found some interesting sidelights on Mussolini, and some o! the books and documents will be of historical interest."
