FIRE IN POSTING BOX.
(PA.) AUCKLAND, July 17A lire in the po'stihg box at Ellerslie Post Office just before midnight destroyed about half of a considerable quantity of mail. The building, as well gs the balance 6f the mail, was saved as a result of the prompt action of a boy who saw the flames through the posting aperture and aroused the posthiaster.
