Mr. C. 11. Williams has been elected vice-president of tlie New Zealand SheepOwneys’ Federation. Mr. R. Sainsbufy, of Waii’oa. who has recovered from a recent illness, was welcomed by the chairman, Mr. G. A. Maddison, when he took his seat at last .week’s meeting of the Hawke's Bay Education Board. Mr. W. Keith has been mentioned as a possible! candidate fob the National Party selection ballot fob the Gisborne seat and has been approached by a large number of people in rodent weeks. Mr. Keith states definitely that he will not be a candidate.
