Wairoa D.H.S. Teams
A football team and three basketball teams from the Wairoa District High School visited Napier on Saturday to play against Napier High School. In the football match the bovs defeated the Napier second fifteen by 13 to three in a good game, with Wairoa forwards dominating the play. Tries were scored by Simpßon and Hughes, while Rigby converted one and Hingston another, Shaw kicking a penalty goal. In the basketball, the first two Wairoa teams lost, while the junior team scored a victory.
