SCOTTISH STATIONS VISIT BY MR. JORDAN (Special Correspondent.) (2.30 p.m.) LONDON. June 29. The New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. W. J. Jordan, met a number of New Zealanders on a recent visit to training stations in Scotland, including the following instructors: Flight-Lieutenants L. S. Dobbin, of Opunake; R. J. Neil, of Marlborough; Flying-Officer C. W. Evans, of Wanganui; J. Joll, D.F.C., of New Plymouth; Pilot Officer A. B. Chitty, of Hamilton; Warrant Officers R. B. Berney, D.F.M., of Masterton, F. C. Fox, of Napier, A. G. Russell, of Dunedin, Flight Sergeants E. Johnson, of Auckland; E. A. Townsend, of Wellington; Sergeants G. Stevens, of Marten, N. G. Cromie, of Canterbury, R. L. Somerville, of Dunedin, B Wisely, of Christchurch, C. P. Lund, of Auckland. He also met the following who are taking courses: Pilot Officer C. D. Dobson, of Hawarden; Sergeants K. Smith, of Auckland; F. E. Gatland, of Papakura; G. L. Kennedy, of Wellington; J. A. Morgan, of Whakatane; C. Newlove, of Nelson; E. Perks, of Onehunga; L. J. Waterhouse, of Te Kauwhata; W. F. C. King, of Taihape; also Pilot-Officer L. M. Mason and Sergeants D. J. Tottman, A. C. Williamson and J. F. Garland. Many took part in the 1000-plane raid of Bremen. Mr. Jordan also met the assistant Section Officer D. M. Wilson, of Hanmer Springs,- who is catering officer. She was a member of the W.A.A.F. for two and a half years. Other New Zealanders Mr. Jordan met were Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander A. C. Horne, R.N., Auckland; Lieutenant R. Carleton Munro, of Christchurch; Ordinary Seamen H. L. Armstrong, of Invercargill, R. A. Waters, of Auckland, and Sub-Lieutenant J. W. Simpsoil;
