DEATH FOR SABOTEURS
DEMAND IN AMERICA (10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, June 30. The Attorney-General, Mr. Francis Biddle, indicated that the eight German saboteurs, who were landed in America-from U-boats, will be handed Over to the War Department for prosecution. Meantime, a demand for harsh penalties and rapid trial is mounting throughout the country. Mr. Pfeiffer, a member of the House of Representatives, introduced a bill in Congress calling for a mandatory death penalty for persons, alien or citizens, giving aid or comfort to the enemy.
