TOKOMARU FAREWELL
(Herald Correspondent.) A very happy dance, sponsored by the patriotic committee, was held in the carved meeting house, Tokomaru Bay. in honour of Miss Mary Savage, who is leaving Tokomaru Bay for Iho duration of the war. Dancing continued until a late hour, the music being provided by Mrs. Aupoari. Miss Kura Beale played extras. A savoury supper was served by the Indies, after which Mrs. .1. L. Grant, on behalf of patriotic committee, presented the guest of honour witli a handsome brush, comb and mirror. Miss Savage suitably responded. Miss Savage left at the week-end for Oiiakea, where she joins the transport division ~f the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force.
