Bees in Auckland
A swarm of bees in Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland, gave passing motorists and pedestrians some unpleasant minutes. Settling on and near the safety zone at the Remuera road junction the swarm accelerated pedestrian traffic across the street, while motorists drove through with the windows of their cars closed. It was some time before the bees were drawn off by the removal of the queen.
