TE KARAKA TENNIS
(Herald Correspondent.) A very enjoyable tennis tournament, arranged by the Te Karaka Tennis Club, was played in ideal weather conditions last weekend. Prize-winners were Mrs. E. Cranswick, wiio had a total of eight wins and two losses, and Quentin Williams with five wins and three losses. Players taking part in the tournament included T. M. Archer, E. Cranswick, R. H. Brown, W. I. Bruce, E. Bradley, J. Orgias. F. G. Bellerby, W. G. Jerram, S. Corlet, S. Jones, C. Hardacre, Q. Williams, and Roger Bellerby, Mesdames R. H. Brown, E. Cranswick, W. I. Bruce, T. M. Archer, J. L. Clarkson, and J. Orgias; Misses L. Ruru, V. Seamons, K. Bullen, G. Parkinson, and V. Trotter.
