(Herald Correspondent.) The Matawai Tennis Club was favoured with a beautiful day for its match on Saturday, when the “Dichards” met the “Deadbeats.” Women’s nnd men's singles, doublet and combined doubles were played. Members of the “Diehards” were; —H. Sydney, J. Smith, A. and H. Bulst, Mesdames Marsha 11 and Nicol and Miss Gibson The “Dead-beats” included J. Collins, N. Thomas, H. Bulst and G. Ewen, Mesdames J. Collins, N. and F. Thomas. The "Diehards” beat the “Dead-beats” by 9 games to 5.
