(Herald Correspondent.) Miss Beattie. Sunday school organiser for the Church of England in the Waiapu diocese, was a recent visitor to Mdtawai. She delighted the' Sunday school children with interesting stories and service at the church on Sunday afternoon, and visited the Matawai School on Monday morning with the Rev. J. D. Hodgson. Mrs. W. A. Bennett, Te Puke, is the guest of her niece, Mrs. J. W. Smith. Mrs. R. Cramer-Roberts accompanied her.—Mr. arid Mrs. R. Mortleman moved into Mr. Fleming’s former residence on Saturday.—Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bielski left Matawai on Monday for Pinkney station, where Mr. Bielski assumes the position of manager.— Mrs. Tucker left Matawai on Friday afternoon with Mrs. Fleming, whose guest she will be until she moves into her new home in Collins street, Gisborne. ■
