H.B. LINEN FLAX
An area of autumn-sown linen flax laid down in Central Hawke’s Bay as a trial is to be harvested next week. This will be the first crop of this plant to be harvested in the province and; with spring-sown crops to be pulled later, this will give the authorities d guide as to the possibilities of developing the linen-flax industry in the Central Hawke’s Bdy district.
