R.A.F. PILOT TRAINEE
YOUNG MALAY PRINCE (British Oflicinl Wireless.) Reed. 2 D.m. RUGBY. Nov. 24. Prince Mamud, the 22-year-old son of the late Sultan and a brother of the present Sultan Tregganau of the Malay States, to-day was accepted by the Royal Air Force' for training as a pilot. On hearing the news of his acceptance, Prince Mamud said: “The exciting work of the Royal Air Fovce has always attracted me. I felt I could not serve my country better than to become an airman. I am delighted to find I am accepted *as a pilot.”
