RAIN SPELL CONTINUES
WELLINGTON EXPERIENCE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. An isolated shower just after midnight gave a point of rain in the gauge at the meteorological station in Kelburn and this point may play a conspicuous part in the local meteorological records as it provides the requisite rain during the 24 hours to 9 o’clock this morning for official continuation of the rain spell. This has now lasted 19 days, equalling the record established in June, 1887, when there were also 19 consecutive days with rain. There was a similar experience in 187 L
