WIND, SNOW AND RAIN
ASHBURTON DISTRICT (Per Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. Following snow on Saturday, Ashburton County generally experienced very wild conditions last night, with a high wind, snow and heavy rain. Mayfield reported that it was the worst night on record. The Klondike irrigation officials reported the heaviest rain for their five years’ residence. No serious flooding is feared and few stock losses are reported. Conditions were slightly improved to-day.
