AMUSEMENTS
Majestic.—Concluding to-day at the Majestic, “Gambling on the High Seas,” starring Wayne Morris, is exciting entertainment. The associate feature is "Prairie Schooners,” a western. The Marx brothers in “Go West” will head the programme commencing on Monday. King’s. —Delighted crowds thronged the King’s yesterday for the opening day of the story of the Napoleonic era, "Lady Hamilton,” which start Vivien Leigh and Lawrence- Olivier. The stirring romance between Lord Nelson and Emma, Lady Hamilton, is the centre of practically all interest until the death of Nelson at Trafalgar. Regent.—Those Gisborne people who have been fortunate enough to see “Gone With the Wind” are unanimous in their praise of a film which must be ranked as a screen classic. It is a picture which many intend seeing for a second and even a third time.
