RENTPAYERS’ BODY
FORMATION PROPOSED ADJUSTMENT OF CHARGES (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A movement has been launched for the formation of a Rentpayers’ Association in Wellington. Membership is to be open to all who pay rent for living accommodation, whether for > house, flat or room, but not to people or firms who rent only business premises.
The aim of the association is to combine the efforts of tenants in an endeavour to remedy the disproportioa between some kinds of rents and the value of the property occupied or the accommodation obtained.
