HASTINGS TEAM VISIT A record crowd for the season is expected at the Oval next Saturday to see the Rugby match between the visiting Hastings llit:h School team and the first fifteen of the Gisborne Tlieh School. The best attendance for the a ear to date was drawn by the Napieruisboino match, but a harder tussle lor the home team is expected on Saturday. It will be remembered that Gisborne defeated Napier by 19 points to nine. However, when Napier met Hastings this season they were beaten by 18 points to nine, the winning team being an experienced one and sharing the lead in the Hastings junior competition. McCracken is a tower of strength to the Hastings team as an accurate goalkicker. In the match against Napier he converted all three goals and kicked a penalty goal. In the past two years Gisborne has defeated Hastings.
