WARNING TO DUTCH
EAST INDIES FUTURE
ATTITUDE OF JAPAN
(Reed. June 4, 11 a.m.) TOKIO, June 3
The newspapers Miyako and Hochi editorially urge Japan to drop her “policy of indecision” and take stern measures against the Netherlands East Indies.
The Hochi issues a warning that the key to the success or failure of the negotiations with the East Indies and the future of the south Pacific is in the hands of the East Indies, and urges serious reflection and prudence on the part of the Dutch authorities.
