Saving of Petrol
With a view to saving petrol, the Gisborne Borough Council last night agreed to appoint an inspection committee only when desired for some specific purpose. In advocating this course, Mr. H. E. Maude said that few major works were being carried on in the borough now. and the adoption of the proposal would be the means of. saving at least a small quantity of petrol. UNWELCOME COLDS.
