FUTURE OF EGYPT
AMBASSADOR’S TALK TREATY WITH BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. i RUGBY, Feb. 27. The Egyptian 'Ambassador addressed a largely-attended meeting of members of both Houses of Parliament under the chairmanship of Colonel Arthur Evans, M.P., at the House of Commons. The meeting was arranged by the British group of the inter-Parliament union and was one of a number of similar gatherings planned in the hope of affording private expert guidance on aspects of the war and its repercussions. The ambassador dealt at length with the Anglo-Egyptian Treaty and the Egyptian position in relation to the war and the future of Egypt.
