War risk insurance for all Australian ships trading between Australian ports, the islands or territories is to be provided by a board whose personnel was announced by the Commonwealth Government yesterday. It will be known as the Commonwealth' Marine War Risks Insurance Board. The risks to be covered include hostilities, capture, detention, rebellion, revolution, civil war, piracy, mines, torpedoes, bombs or other “engines of war.” The plan does not cover cargoes, but the insurance of crews can be arranged.
