SYMPATHETIC S.M’S Valerie Angel, of Farnborough, Hampshire, is 18—and in love. She has been friendly for two years with Maurice Blimer, who is 20 and a soldier. She asked permission to marry at Vld'“t-shot court the other day. “My mother consents,” she said, “but my father for some reason or other has refused.” Her fiance said ie was a solicitor’s clerk and had one more year to finish his articles. His father was a company director and he had private means. The magistrates gave consent to the wedding.
