DISCUSSION OF PLANS SOCIAL SECURITY ACT (Per Press Associntion.) WELLINGTON, this day. The question of the introduction of the general-practitioner service under the Social Security Act was discussed at a meeting yesterday between representatives of the Government and the British Medical Association. The meeting took place in the office of the Minister of Health, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong, Parliament Buildings. The Minister had nn statement to make when seen at the conclusion of the discussion.
