CLUB COMPETITIONS PLAYERS DRAWN P.B. OMAN CUP The draw for the Oman Cup series has been announced by the Poverty Bay Ladies’ Golf Chib. Haisman, 91-28-63, in the B Section, and in the C Section by Mrs. Mason. In the J.K. Stars, Misses Preston and Alley beat Misses E. Winter and A. Bell.

For the McMurray Star Mr.U Jackson won by default from Miss L Lyons. There will be no further draw for the Stars competitions until after the King’s Birthday week-end. The competition for the B and C sections next week will be an L.G.U. medal round. In the afternoon members will engage in Canadian foursomes, partners being arranged at the clubhouse. TURANGANUI CLUB The draw has been announced by the Turanganui Golf Club for a match on Saturday in which the women members are challenging the men, the latter conceding a stroke a hole.
