WORKMAN DROWNED
CAPSIZE OF BOAT TRAGEDY AT LOWBURN (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. A fatality occurred at the AustralNew Zealand Mining Company’s dredge at Lowburn about 2.15 p.m. yesterday, when a boat in which four men were attending to lines from the dredge capsized and a married man, Mr. William Campbell, aged 58 years, of Cromwell, was drowned. The body was later recovered by the police. The inquest will be opened this morning.
