FREE OF INTEREST
WAR LOAN TO STATE OVER £1,400,000 TOTAL (Por Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Futhcr interest-free loans and donations by way of contributions to the war expenses fund were acknowledged yesterday by the Minister of Finance, the Hon. W*. Nash. The total amount contributed, including amounts received direct by the Treasury and the Post Office, now stands at £1,403,738.
