Inter-Island Ferry Busy
Residents of Lyttelton and no doubt some Christchurch people had their first glimpse of the Awatea last weekend, when the trans-Tasman liner made a special trip from Wellington to Lyttelton and back in order to cope with the heavy holiday traffic. The Awatea and the Rangitira both made trips to Lyttelton on Saturday evening, and the Wahine made the run on Sunday evening.
