BULLET IN HEAD
BUSINESSMAN’S FATE (Per Press Association.) OAMARU, this day. John Alexander Amies, aged 50, a well-known coal merchant of Oamaru, was found this morning in the cab of a lorry with a bullet wound in the forehead and a pea-rifle alongside. He died soon after admission to hospital. Ho was a married man with two children
