UNUSUAL CHARGE
MOTORING OFFENCE MAN SENT TO GAOL (Ter Tress Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Alexander Archibald Campbell was sentenced in the Police Court to-day to 10 days’ gaol for aiding and abetting George Jones in the commission of an offence of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor truck. The charge arose out of a case in which Jones received a similar sentence. Campbell was senior officer to Jones in the Public Works , Department and Jones was driving under his direction from Beaumont to Dunedin.
