SERIOUSLY INJURED IN ROAD ACCIDENT
WHANGAREI, This Day (P.A.).— A fractured skull was received by Mr A. M. Sheffield, managing director of Sheffield Radio Ltd., Whangarei, when a van. in which he was travelling yesterday collided with a timber truck on a narrow road near Totara North. Mr Sheffield was reading at the time and the impact drove his head through the windscreen. After being treated at the roadside by a passing doctor, Mr Sheffield was admitted to the Whangaroa Hospital where his condition this morning had improved.
