Mr J. Mackey left by the air service this morning for Nelson. # Mr J. Brown, left for Wellington this morning by the air service. Mr L. T. Wylie, District Public Trustee, has received notice of transfer to the Wellington branch of the Public Trust Office. His successor at Greymouth has not yet been appointed. Dr Paul J. Fogarty and Mrs Fogarty, who recently returned to New Zealand from a tour of the British Isles and Europe, are at present the guests oi Mr and Mrs M. J. Fogarty, of Greymouth. They will return to Blenheim tomorrow. The Rt. Rev. R. S. Watson was inducted as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand at’Timaru last evening Mr Watson was educated at Feuding and at Victoria University College, where he graduated with honoui s m philosophy. He received his 5 theological training at Knox Church, Dunedin, and immediately after served as a chaplain overseas from 1915 to 1919, when he was awarded the Military Cross. Mr Watson has been assistant irjinister in First Church, Dunedin, and minister at Devonport, Khandallah. and Ashburton. He serves at present at St Andrew’s, Dunedin.
