NEW AIR TIMETABLE TO START SOON

WELLINGTON, This Day (P.A.). —Under a revised time-table to be introduced by the N.A.C. at the end of next month, air passengers from Wellington will have considerably later services to Auckland and Christchurch. Planes will then arrive at Auckland at 9.15 p.m. and Christchurch gt 7.5 p.m. Mail closing times will also be later and this should be of added benefit to business people. The aim of the N.A.C- is to get as near to night flying as possible under existing circumstances. The fiew time-table will also give more seats.

Five D.C.3 airliners will fly daily on the trunk route, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin, and will be supplemented by two Lodestars running on the Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin route. The Wellington-Gisborne service will be of two return flights and the Cook Strait services to Blenheim and Nelson will go up to four scheduled flights, with Lodestars.
