Mr Merrett Wilkinson,, of Dunedin, district governor of Rotary, Greymouth. He addressed the mouth club today and will again meet members this evening. Mr Bryan Hislop Kingston, an Auckland barrister and solicitor, was chosen last evening as the National Party candidate for Ponsonby at the General Election. He was chosen from four nominees. Mr Kingston has been # associated with the National Party since its inception in 1936, During the last war he served in the Pacific, as a sergeant in, the 2nd New Zealand Convalescent Depot. Mr Kingston is a married man with three children. Ponsonby is at present held by Mr R. Macdonald
