SALE OF COBDEN DAIRY FARM AT £2700 APPROVED
A Cobden dairy farm was the subject of an application dealt with by the Westland Land Valuation Committee at Greymouth this morning. The 102-acre farm, the property of P. M. Rea, was sold to R. H. Greaves for £2700. This was the price sought, the Crown representative, Mr A. E. Wogan, indicating that the Crown’s valuation was only £lOO below that sought. Other applications were granted as follows:—
A. A. Mosley to J. R. and D. M. Lovell, Reid street, Blaketown. Price £475. —Subject to reduction to £4lO. M. L. Marshall to A. A. Meiklejohn, 20.7 perches Greymouth, price £1320. —Subject to reduction in price to £1285. R. G. Houston to T. J. and C. Jackson, carrying business and house, Blackball, price £2500. Public Trustee to J. McCormick, 32 perches, Hokitika. Price £l4OO. —Subject to reduction to £llOO. ' R. O. E. Mills to D. J. A. Bradley, one acre, Kaniere, price £ 140. A. F. Stuart to G. R. Roberts, 1 rood, Hokitika. Price £ 85.
