Blomfield Beats Holmbock
Lofty Blomfield beat Erik Holmbock in a professional wrestling contest in Auckland on Saturday evening, when Holmbock was unable to come out for the sixth round. In the previous round Blomfield had his octopus clamp well applied on Holmbock, who refused to submit, and managed to survive the round. He was still in a lying position in the ring when the gong sounded for the sixth round. Holmbock took a fall in the fourth round with a body press after three dumps.—(P.A.)
