OBITUARY
Mr K. F. Johnsen The death occurred suddenly at his residence, Runanga, on Saturday evening, of Mr Keith Francis Johnsen, aged 35 years. Born at Hikurangi, Mr Johnsen came to Runanga 15 years ago, as a mining student and took up employment later as a fitter and turner at the Liverpool mine. He was secretary of the Westland Enginedrivers’ Union for many years, but resigned as a result of illness. For the past 12 months he had been employed on clerical duties at the State mine office at Dunollie. He was a member of the Runanga senior Rugby League team as a youth. He leaves, besides his wife, three sons (Peter, Philip and William), and one daughter (Eileen), all of Runanga. His mother and one sister (Mrs Green) reside at Auckland. The funeral will take place at the Karoro cemeterj’ tomorrow afternoon.
