LAUNCHING OF NEW SHIP FOR NEW ZEALAND RUN
(Rec. 10 a.m.) LONDON, April 2a. The Duchess 'of Gloucester on June 30 will launch a new motor passenger ship, the Rangitane. from the Clydebank shipyard of John Brown and Company. The ship, which will carry about 400 passengers in one class, is being built to the order of the New Zealand Shipping Company. , The new ship will have a speed ol 17 knots and a tonnage of 19,000.
